Members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans at Immanuel teamed up with Thrivent members from Salem Lutheran Church for a community service project in November. The project was funded by the Thrivent Member Chapter of the central UP. The service team's assignment was to shop for $500 worth of food for the Salvation Army's food pantry.
The service team met at Elmers County Market at 1:00pm. The plan was to have them all take a basket and gather about $80 worth of food.
